On Thursday may 24th, the sudents of TGA1 and some students of TELEEC visited Jean Monnet’s house with three of their teachers : Mrs Ventadour, Mrs Thiec and Mrs Parent.

Europe, a visionary’s dream.
Visitors to Jean Monnet’s house are immersed in the place where the weels were frist set in motion for making the idea of a united Europe into reality. It was here that the Declaration of the 9th May 1950, the founding text of the construction of Europe, was written. It was made public by Robert Schyman, then Minister for Foreign Affairs.

Six countries immediatly signed up to this innovative idea. This European process is still continuing its journey today.
